STEAL Two
STEAL Two (PKI 361) has been designed to be a hands-on instructional laboratory. It has been sized to allow entire classes (max 28 participants) to collectively engage in academic Information Assurance exercises of all kinds. Like STEAL One, the lab has been designed to be completely flexible to allow users to simulate most any type of environment imaginable. A set of dedicated servers provide backbone services, such as DNS, DHCP, PXE, TFTP, routing, and the like. Each of these services is configurable as well, in order to allow for more accurate simulations.
- Four administrative servers
- Eight pods, each with 5 client machines and a 4x16 KVM for access to the client machines.
- Five Foundry FastIron x424.
- One anonymous internet connected machine for tool retrieval
- Two LCD projectors
- Two motorized projection screens
- All machines are outfitted with hardware write blocking devices for forensic imaging
